The permission is a curvaceous fruit displaying a green cap that is a slight exaggeration of reality. The piece is bonded marble and hand-painted with acrylic paint. It sits on a Corian base that measures 1” x 3” x 3”
This is a favorite fall fruit of mine. Though not well known, it’s worth seeking out at specialty grocery stores. The orange flesh is delicate and sweet. An Asian persimmon tree loaded with ripe fruits in October is a true seasonal sensation. It goes way beyond the standard Halloween pumpkin, with a great deal of elegance.
This little charmer will keep you company in your home office, sitting on your desk, next to the family photos. We know where the color Persimmon comes from now.
